Active since 1897, the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter is one of the oldest chapters of the Fraternity.

the sixth group of alumnae to receive a charter
In the early years, alumnae chapters were identified just like college chapters, with a Greek name.
Charter member Mary Ritter was a well-known advocate for women's rights.


Founders Day - A Century Ago

Nearly 100 years ago, Thetas from all over the state gathered at the Hume Mansur Building and Roof Garden Founders Day on January 27. 182 guests were at the lunch.

This building was located on East Ohio and was torn down in 1980 to make way for the Chase Tower.
